Our Ultimate Frisbee and Athletics Teams have both had a busy start to the year, with events beginning in early September. First up, our Ultimate Frisbee team travelled to Chill Mhantain for the Inaugural Wicklow Cup Invitational. 34 John Scottus students played in the event, and it was a very successful and enjoyable morning of games.
We look forward to the school’s Ultimate season ahead.
Our first competitive Athletics event of the school year kicked off with the Avondale 1500m relay. 27 John Scottus students participated with over 10 other schools. Everyone put in a fantastic effort, and the Junior boys’ team of Conor Wood, Oisin Donelon, and Senan Kelly, came home with a bronze. Any interested students can come along on Thursday and join the club.
