Nord Anglia in Leopardstown hosted the first South Dublin Girls Under 15 Soccer Cup Final. Teams from Rosemount School, Goatstown Educate Together, Nord Anglia, and John Scottus competed against each other. The John Scottus girls won their matches against Rosemount School on a scoreline of 3-0 and Goatstown Educate Together on a score of 6-2. Students from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year travelled to the event, and all the girls had a great morning filled with games.
After their group game wins, the girls reached the final against Rosemount. Unfortunately, they lost 1-0 from an excellent free kick, which meant we didn’t quite manage to bring the cup back to Old Conna. Despite this, the girls were delighted with their silver medals, and we look forward to competing again next year.
