Building hoovers in Transition Year
As part of a STEM project and Litter Awareness week, Transition Years built their own hoovers this. There were 6 groups and each group tried their hand at putting one together.

TY enjoyed a cookery course in Donnybrook Fair from 20th February – 22nd February.
The Transition Year students have done an excellent job at preparing for their ECO-DEN awards and three of the groups got through to the final.
This week we worked with Debbie Paul of Debbie Paul Art Gallery on a project called ‘A question of Communication’.
This week was Nutrition week…. TYs learned all about their sugar intake and how to stay active.
yet more progress in the boys cantine…It’s unrecognisable now.
TY continued their love of tearing things up with knives and scalpals by meticulously cutting up this sheeps heart in Sports Science this week.
TY travelled to Jharkhali via Kolkata to deliver a novel English language course.
