2nd Class spent three weeks studying The Titanic. The end result was lots of different projects.
2nd Class Red were focusing on weight in maths. The children made fruit salad but had to weigh out the correct amount of fruit first.
In Maths we have been learning all about the clock. Specifically we have been learning o’clock, half past, a quarter to and a quarter past.
This week in school we have been celebrating Science Week.
5th Class held a parents open afternoon in Morehampton Road.
We had such a wonderful turn out for our Hear to Hand Christmas Shoe box appeal this year. Well done to all the boys and girls and parents for being so generous.
2nd Class Yellow have spent the last two weeks in Art exploring the strand of PRINT.
For the past number of weeks 4th class have been studying Early Christian Ireland and the Book of Kells.
2nd Class were hunting around the Secret Garden on Thursday in search of any signs of Autumn.
On Wednesday 1st Class Red and Yellow went on a class tour to Dun Laoghaire. They spent the morning rock pooling in the lashings of rain followed by an educational marine talk.
The action never stopped all week. Every day there were two active sessions for each class in addition to all their PE classes.
