On Tuesday 11th December 5th class took part in th SARI (Soccer Against Racism Ireland) fun-shop which is designed to give children an anti-racism message through soccer activities.

This week in school we have been celebrating Science Week.
We had such a wonderful turn out for our Hear to Hand Christmas Shoe box appeal this year. Well done to all the boys and girls and parents for being so generous.
This week 5th class took a trip to Pembroke Library. Clearly they are doing so much reading for MS Readathon that they need to restock their libraries.
John Scottus girls team had their first match of the year against North William street on a wet, windy but sunny Thursday.
A huge congratulations to Ishaan in 4th Class Mixed. Last weekend he won 1st prize in the CoderDojo Coolest Project Category in the RDS.
On Tuesday, Fourth Class Mixed were invited to AIB by our Junior Achievement volunteer- Sharon Murphy.
On Wednesday morning, the students in fourth class pulled out the carrots that were planted a few months back.
The action never stopped all week. Every day there were two active sessions for each class in addition to all their PE classes.
