Fifth and Sixth Class took a tour of Old Conna along with the Secondary School. It was wonderful to see the fabulous new facilities.

Proclamation Day 2017
The whole school gathered together on Wednesday morning to celebrate Proclamation Day. We had many performances – dancing, songs and even the Wizard of Oz ‘as Gaeilge’.
Seachtain na Gaeilge
We got off to a flying start on Monday morning with a bit of Trad music from Mr De Blacam, Ms Glackin and Mrs Monaghan in assembly.

Last friday all classes from Junior Infants to 4th class took part in 10@10.
5th Class Business and Spanish
Fifth Class have been taking Spanish lessons from the Transition Years.
Wellness Week :-)
We had Wellness Week this week in school. The theme of the week was: I am comfortable, I am healthy, I am happy.
JS Proclamation Unveiled
On Wednesday morning in Assembly we had a very important event take place.
4th Class Adventure Stories and Dazzling Christmas Art
4th class are writing adventure stories at the moment. They all involve a quest that the main character has to complete, despite obstacles in the way.
Heart to Hand Shoebox Appeal
Thank you to all who donated shoe boxes so generously. There was utter joy experienced by all the children as they gave with such open hearts.
GRATITUDE WEEK
As part of Gratitude Week this week in school the children all drew a picture of something they are grateful for.
