This term has been a busy one for sport in John Scottus. 1st Year students have been enjoying basketball in University College Dublin’s Sports hall and have also been braving the weather in Pembroke during their hockey lessons.
2nd and 3rd Years have also been down in Pembroke for some very enjoyable Hockey lessons. In addition they have been attending Taekwondo classes given by South Dublin Taekwondo’s Niamh Buffni. Niamh is a 5th Dan black belt in Taekwondo, Ireland’s Youngest and only female 5th Dan.
4th, 5th and 6th Years have also been enjoying some of Niamh’s classes and have been in Pembroke playing soccer.
The schools Ultimate Frisbee teams will be playing their opening games of the Dublin Schools Ultimate League in early December.
