On Friday May 27 at lunch time was the final book club of the year. The theme was ‘Bring Your Favourite Book’.
Miss Swan’s 2nd year geography class were set an end of term project to create a 3D globe.
First and second year students were visited by local T. D Jim O’Callaghan on Friday the 20th of May.
Last week the school was awarded a Science Foundation of Ireland Discover Science and Maths Plaque of STEM Excellence for the 2015/16 academic year.
In keeping with our Green School Action Plan the next upcoming event is our fashion show. All the children will be making clothes and/or accessories using recycled goods.
We are very proud of our 4th class children here at John Scottus Primary School who have taken part in a competition to promote the Safe Cross Code and build awareness of road safety.
The Junior Infant children have been busy learning about the wonders of the life cycle of a butterfly.
