Graduation and Prize Giving took place on Tuesday, May 16. It was an excellent opportunity to celebrate quality learning in the past year.
Our Parents Association organised a fantastic sponsored walk and activity day on Wednesday, May 10. We are delighted that parents raised €2970 for the JSS sports department.
Our Transition Year students have continued working on this classroom over the last couple of months, building on previous years’ work.
In May 2023, the Student GCE Committee also organised a Schools Climate Conference etc. , This event was an incredible achievement for a group of secondary school students.
On Thursday, March 3, our Junior and Senior Girl’s teams travelled to the National Indoor Arena in Abbottstown.
On Tuesday, March 14, John Scottus 1st and 2nd years, joined 5 other schools for the Wicklow invitational 1-mile challenge at Shoreline Athletics track in Greystones, Co.
After a successful group stage with three wins and a win in the playoffs, the boys travelled to UCD on Monday, March 13, to play Sandymount Educate Together in the quarter-final.
Well done to the Junior boy’s basketball team, who had an amazing win over Blessington Community school in UCD on Friday, February 24, with a winning scoreline of 23-7.
Our girls continued their league campaign against LFI College et Lycee in UCD. Lycee scored early in the first half with a well-taken goal.
The ski trip during mid-term was by all accounts a great success.
