Every Tuesday teachers engage in the Croke Park hour in areas to improve teaching and learning. This week it was the turn of Science.
We had more performances in Assembly this week. On Monday we heard from 1st Class Yellow and on Tuesday we heard from 2nd Class.
The whole school gathered together on Wednesday morning to celebrate Proclamation Day. We had many performances – dancing, songs and even the Wizard of Oz ‘as Gaeilge’.
1st Class have been exploring and measuring the capacity of different containers in Maths class this week.
The Universal Choir gave another wonderful performance at Córfhéile na Scoileanna, beautifully accompanied once again by Ms Áine Quinn.

During the February mid term, 12 students from 3rd & 2nd yr headed off with Mrs Kinlay and Ms Gilan to Pamiers, France.

Last Thursday we celebrated World Book Day. In 5th and 6th Class some children dressed up as their favourite characters.
As part of the SPHE programme, each 4th class girl brought in one or two pieces of fruit.
