Below is a description of the global goals project we were involved in this week.
Second class made a great mess on Tuesday. We were celebrating the Hindu festival of Holi with some Rangoli art.
Seachtain na Gaeilge was held in the school from the week beginning 13th March and concluded with our customary céilí on Thursday 16th march.
5th and 6th Class have been participating in the Eason Spelling Bee this month. Each class held their own Bee and after a long competition three champions were selected.
Fifth and Sixth Class took a tour of Old Conna along with the Secondary School. It was wonderful to see the fabulous new facilities.
We invite you to take part in our Chéilí Mór that we had last Thursday in the school yard as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge.
On Friday the 10th of March the JSS Junior Boys and Senior Girls teams travelled to Mercy College Beaumont to compete against two girls teams from Beaumont and and two boys teams from Hartstown.
We welcome Shannon Kavanagh from Dalkey to John Scottus and to the TY class of 2017. She’s settled in great so far.
