A group of our 5th years went to Townley Hall as part of our Philosophy week to discover more about the meaning of “Darkness to Light”.

Our philosophy week took place on March 5th with the theme “From Darkness to Light”.
4th Class Girls Make Insects
Fourth class made Colourful Creepy Crawlies. We used card, wire and paper to make the constructions.
Senior Infants Planting
Senior Infants were planting in the classroom this week.
5th Class Sales Day
This year, 5th class are taking part in a Junior Entrepreneur Programme which is about making a class business.
The Potatoes are going in!
All this week in school all classes have been planting potatoes.
After School Fun
Our ukulele club is in full swing on Fridays in Afterschool.
1st Class Red doing Junior Achievement Programme
First Class Red have been participating in the Junior Achievement Programme with a volunteer from Pfizer.
Senior Infants Red
In Senior Infants Red they made St Patrick’s Day Badges and used straws and coloured paper to make Spring Flowers.
Seachtain na Gaeilge
Last week we celebrated Seactain na Gaeilge in school.
Lava Lamps in 2nd Class
This week 2nd Class were making Lava Lamps in Science class.
