ECO-UNESCO’s Young Environmentalist Awards (YEA) is an all-Ireland environmental awards programme that recognises and rewards young people who raise environmental awareness and improve the environment.
Our 1st year and 2nd years visit Carlingford Adventure centre for their class trip .
We had a great trip to the Netherlands thanks to everyone’s super nice company, the gorgeous weather and the variety of places available.
Literacy week took place from May 8th to May 11th and included activities such as a dress up assembly, a talk by an author and our annual speech competition to name but a few.
Our Transition Year students put together a great compilation of short stories and essays as part of their English studies.
We had a very active week this week in school. Tuesday Walk a mile with a smile.
During the week 5th class visited the Irish Aid Centre. They did some drumming, sang a Swahili song, danced and had a workshop about the U.

As part of literacy week the students and teachers read a book. We chose One by Irish Author Sarah Crosssan.
