The boys and girls in sixth class entered a brilliant project into the Primary Science section of The BT Young Scientist Exhibition in January. The project concept, to design a space module, was proposed by Ethan’s dad, Noel Brady. He saw a NASA project competition and alerted Mr Sheils. The two sixth classes worked in mixed groups to create a breathtakingly stunning project. Mrs Dempsey, Mr Sheils and Mr Brady guided them but the work was truly from the childrens own efforts. A local Newspaper, NewsFour, picked up the story at the RDS and published it in their Feb/March edition.
