he newly reformed Boys hockey team has been training hard on Wednesday afternoons and have played their opening two matches of the season. The first game was a 4-0 defeat and really gave the boys an idea of the standard they had to reach.
The most recent game finished in a 3-1 defeat but really gave the boys a chance to showcase how far they have come. An extremely open affair with chances galore at both ends made for a very enjoyable game to watch.
After a very narrow 2-1 loss in their opening game the JSS Girls Hockey team had an excellent 2-0 win against Kings Hospital of Lucan. Tove Murphy and Kaiya Reddy Pfeiffer scored the decisive goals for the girls who have put themselves in an excellent position of the remainder of their group.
