Global

On Wednesday, February 3rd, John Scottus Transition Year students hosted a Schools Climate Conference. During the conference, they engaged in meaningful discussions about how to keep the global temperature rise well below 2 degrees Celsius. The brilliant Dr Cara Augustenborg from Ireland’s Climate Change Advisory Council addressed the attendees, and the Transition Year students demonstrated impressive leadership skills on this critical issue. Well done to everyone involved! Delegations from five other schools also participated in the debates and discussions on this topic.
