John Scottus girls team had their first match of the year against North William street on a wet, windy but sunny Thursday. The girls have only had two training sessions and each player played with resolute determination and a never give in attitude! It was a close game finishing 2-4 to 0-3 to North William Street. Well done to all the girls from 3rd to 6th for their massive effort.
BUT, we need more girls to put themselves forward to represent their school!
We are looking at YOU mums and dads to encourage your daughters to get involved in a sport that will get them active, healthy, develop resilience, team work and learn skills that are transferable to many other activities.
It’s a very proud honour to be asked to represent your school and play in a team with all your friends. The season has only 3/4 weeks left, so there is not long left to get involved!
