A selection of 3rd and 4th class boys and girls were invited to play on the hallowed turf of Croke Park. They took part in 3 exhibition mini games against Lios Na NÓg, Scoil Bhríde Ranelagh and Loughlinstown.
The boys beat Loughlinstown well, were narrowly beaten by Lios Na NÓg and met a very strong Scoil Bhríde in their final game. The girls won two of their games and drew one and were unbeaten for the afternoon.
It was a fantastic experience for all the children involved and hopefully there will be many more days out in Croke Park for John Scottus in the future.
