2nd Class Red were focusing on weight in maths. The children made fruit salad but had to weigh out the correct amount of fruit first.
5th Class were in the Dragon’s Den
As part of their Junior Entrepreneur’s project 5th class had to develop a business idea and pitch it to the Dragons in the Dragon’s Den.

In Maths we have been learning all about the clock. Specifically we have been learning o’clock, half past, a quarter to and a quarter past.

In History this week 2nd Class Yellow have been exploring the development of the camera. They had to distinguish different features of the cameras and sort them into Old or New categories.
5th Class Attend Soccer Against Racism
On Tuesday 11th December 5th class took part in th SARI (Soccer Against Racism Ireland) fun-shop which is designed to give children an anti-racism message through soccer activities.

Mr Sheils Presents at National STEM Conference
On Saturday afternoon Mr Sheils flew the flag for John Scottus and for Science when he presented to a room full of teachers at the RDS STEM National Learning Conference for Primary School Teachers.
