On Monday the 15th of November John Scottus Boys took on St. Marks Community School Tallaght. The John Scottus boys started very strongly and took control of the game. Christian Madden opened the scoring with a fine finish. The JSS dominance continued with Jack Bruton adding two more goals in quick succession. St. Marks struck back just before half time to make it 3-1 at the break. The second half proved to be a much tighter affair with both teams coming very close to scoring. Jack Bruton, Christian Madden and James Woods all came close. With time running out St. Marks began to pile on the pressure and scored a late consolation goal from a short corner. However the boys reset again and held on for a well deserved win.
