On Tuesday the 5th of December John Scottus students traveled to Ballinteer Community School for a Cross Country invitational. As always it proved to be a huge test of endurance with races ranging from 1km – 4km in length. Every student gave their all and ran excellently throughout the day. Julia Ivanova and Mila Pfeiffer Reddy came 4th and 6th respectively in their races with each race having over 60 competitors. Both Devang Mehta and Nathan Boissier recorded top half finishes in their race which again contained over 60 runners. The Senior girls race began with a much smaller field. Only 8 girls competed in the event, 3 of which were from John Scottus. Regardless of the low numbers Kaiya Pfeiffer Reddy, Nina Howden and Aisling Spratt ran excellent races finishing 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
