Athletics: Wicklow Invitational

On Tuesday, March 14, John Scottus 1^st and 2^nd years, joined 5 other schools for the Wicklow invitational 1-mile challenge at Shoreline Athletics track in Greystones, Co. Wicklow.

We were delighted with all the students’ performances on the track, as conditions were tough with strong winds.

1^st year – Oisin Donelan 2^nd place, Conor Woods 3^rd place

2^nd year – Iona McCool Murnane 3^rd place

There was also a shot put/throwing event and medals went to:

1^st year – Charlotte Stafford

2^nd year – Joshua Mullins, Iona McCool Murnane, Oisin Conlon

Our Athletics Club continues every Thursday after school and is exceptionally well organised by one of our Transition Year students.
