Our 5th and 6th years Business students traveled to the European Parliament representing Ireland as winners of the Euroscola competition on March 22nd..
On arrival at the Parliament they were divided into discussion groups which included students from all of the 27 EU member states. Topics discussed included”Human Rights”, “Migration and Integration “, The Future of the EU”.
Julia Twamley and Aiza Revazova introduced the John Scottus group to the Parliament. Brian Hayes MEP was the guest speaker on the day.
The following day was also action packed. It included an early morning walk (jog) to Germany, a boat trip in Strasbourg, a visit to the Council of Europe building and a visit to the Irish Ambassador to Strasbourg ‘s Residence. A wonderful time was had by all.
