Miss Swan’s 2nd year geography class were set an end of term project to create a 3D globe. The globe needed to include continent and ocean names, lines of longitude and latitude, and needed to be able to hang from the ceiling if possible. Students were given some suggestions as to how to make them but they had free reign to be as creative as possible. On Friday May 20th the class presented their globes. The creativity and dedication of the class was unbelievably impressive from a cake globe made by Gigi Watt, a piñata globe (accompanied by a meteoroid stick) by Williow Hannon, a light up globe by Jade O’Toole, and a globe showing the inner layers of the earth by Christian Madden to name but a few. I was blown away with the accuracy of the continents and the talent of these students.
Well done 2nd years.
Ms Swan.
